The Beblum ‘Oeko-Tex Certified Cot Mattress’ is tested and proven that it does not contain harmful substances. It is highly breathable and washable. Most importantly, it is Formaldehyde-free. Formaldehyde is commonly found in foam (mattresses) as a by-product of chemical reactions and adhesives while making it fire retardant. Formaldehyde is also associated with cancer, respiratory irritation, dizziness or headache. According to EPA, repeated exposure can lead to sensitisation, cancer or allergic reactions.
